Deploying advanced national QCI systems and networks through the project “Development of experimental quantum communication infrastructure in Latvia”

As Europe prepares for the quantum era, today’s communication systems face growing risks from cyberattacks and the future power of quantum computing. Dependence on non-European technologies further undermines trust in critical digital services and weakens strategic autonomy.

The session will explore how as a result of the Project implementation, a national level experimental QKD network has been developed, including integration in the existing communications networks of the Project partners, and how the outcomes:

  • Strengthen the scientific and technological capabilities of the EU,
  • Enhance the competitiveness of quantum technologies and industry, and
  • Promote the strategic autonomy of the EU.

Who should attend:

  • Implementing partners and stakeholders from the project
  • Policy & Government representatives
  • Industry & Technology Leaders
  • Critical Infrastructure Operators
  • Academia & Research representatives
