Michelle has been part of Moldova’s digital transformation journey from the very beginning. From advancing the adoption of digital public services at the e-Government Center to shaping digital skills and workforce development initiatives through Tekwill and Future Technologies Activity, her work has consistently focused on helping people, institutions and businesses thrive in a rapidly evolving digital economy.
Throughout this journey, she has worked at the intersection of technology, education, innovation and economic development, building bridges between public institutions, universities, development partners and the private sector to create new opportunities for people and businesses.Today, as State Secretary for Digitalization and Innovation, she is helping drive Moldova’s transition towards a digital-by-default state and a high-value, innovation-driven economy. Her portfolio includes digitalization, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and innovation policy, while also supporting Moldova’s alignment with key European frameworks, including the AI Act, eIDAS 2.0 and NIS2.
