Data Centers and Regional Digital Infrastructure – Cooperation in Central Asia

As connectivity networks expand across Central Asia, the next question is how the region can make full use of them. Digital services, cloud platforms and computing capacity turn stronger connections into practical benefits for businesses, public institutions and communities. Decisions about where and how this infrastructure is developed will shape the region’s digital future.

Data centres are a key part of that picture. They support the storage and processing behind cloud services and digital platforms, as well as artificial intelligence and other applications that require substantial computing power. Developing this capacity within the region could improve the resilience of digital services, give countries and organisations more choice over how their data is hosted, and create new opportunities for investment and innovation.

The aim of the collaboration event
