Integrated Sensing and Communications in SNS Trials and Pilots: pathway to monetization of 6G networks

Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC) is one of 6G’s most groundbreaking innovations—absent from previous generations and key to unlocking new monetization avenues. ISAC will turn mobile networks into a dual mode infrastructure, providing on one hand conventional communications capabilities and on the other hand sensing capabilities of the environment with huge social and economic potential impacts.

This co-creation event at Techritory Forum 2025 will explore how ISAC can generate value across cutting-edge use cases such as infrastructure monitoring, smart manufacturing, and autonomous mobility. The spotlight will be on the implementation of real-world trials and pilots leveraging this technology.

The event will bring together insights from SNS-funded projects, economic impact experts, and senior representatives from the European Commission, ETSI,  and the SNS Office. Organized by the 6G IA Trials Working Group and the 6GIA Board Vertical Task Force Chairs, this session connects technological potential with societal and market-driven outcomes.

Agenda (draft):

  • Welcome and introduction to the co-creation event
  • Large-scale SNS 6G Trials and Pilots on ISAC
  • Standardization activities and monetization aspects
  • Coffee Break
  • Panel discussion: “Aligning Standards, Trials and Markets: Unlocking ISAC Value in 6G”
  • Wrap up session: takeways and next steps for 5G Techritory 2026

We welcome:

  • Industry executives, business leaders, and network operators creating new models and validating performance at scale;
  • Representatives from vertical industries in e.g., the infrastructure monitoring, smart manufacturing, and autonomous mobility domains;
  • Policy-makers, ETSI/3GPP experts, and EC/national officers shaping roadmaps and regulation;
  • Investors, ecosystem funders, and R&D teams advancing 5G/6G towards monetization and impact;
  • Innovators and engineers working on Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC); and
  • Coordinators of EU- and nationally-funded trials and pilots and R&D projects.

Participation in the event:

Free of charge. Register via the Techritory Forum registration page.
