Andris Kužnieks

Mr Andris Kužnieks is Head of the European Commission Representation in Latvia.
He has extensive experience in EU affairs, strategic communication and political analysis. Previously, he served as Acting Head of the European Commission Representation in Latvia. Prior to that, he headed the Press and Information Section at the Delegation of the European Union to the Russian Federation. Earlier, he held the position of Deputy Head of the Commission’s Representation in Latvia, where he oversaw political reporting, media relations, and human resources.
Before joining the European Commission in 2012, he gained professional experience in Latvian government ministries and the private sector.
