Dr. Juris Binde is President and Chairman of the Management Board of Latvijas Mobilais Telefons (LMT). He is a key driver of Latvia’s telecommunications development and a strong advocate of digital innovation and Industry 4.0.
Dr. Binde holds a PhD in Economics and has complemented his education with studies in Germany, Sweden, and the United States. Alongside his executive role, he is a Professor at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences and the author of more than 40 scientific publications.
In 2025, he was elected an Honorary Member of the Latvian Academy of Sciences.
Dr. Binde has received several awards, including the Order of the Three Stars of the Republic of Latvia (Fourth Class) in 2001 and the Swedish Order of the Polar Star (Knight 1st Class) in 2014.
