Mr. Salm is the CEO of Frankenburg Technologies, producer of affordable and mass-manufacturable missile systems. He previously served as the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of Estonia.
In 2017, Mr. Salm was the chief negotiator for the European Defence Fund. In 2024, he received the European of the Year award for his contributions to advancing the defence agenda in the EU. He also serves as a Member of the Board of the NATO Innovation Fund.
