Mr Baranowski is a political scientist, think-tank expert, and author of numerous publications on transatlantic relations, European policies, and the European security order.
Born in Warsaw, where he completed his secondary education at Jan Zamoyski Upper Secondary School, Mr Baranowski went on to study Economics and Political Science at Mercer University in the United States, the University of Oxford, and Maastricht University.
In 2005, he received a Master’s degree in European Public Affairs from Maastricht University. That same year, he began his career as a think-tank analyst in the Brussels office of the independent American organization, the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF). Over the course of several years, he served the GMF in various capacities.
