Mohamed AlSharhan is Managing Director of World Government Summit Organization at the UAE Prime Minister’s Office and Director of Government Leaders and Talents Department at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, UAE. Mohamed served as Deputy Managing Director from 2020 to 2023. From 2018 to 2020, Projects Manager at Dubai Future Foundation, where he led Dubai 10X, the FIRST Global Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (191 teams from different countries), and CEO Summit under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
Before Dubai Future Foundation, AlSharhan worked as an engineer specialized in sustainable transport, and as a researcher at Masdar Institute in the field of transport and sustainable development (2011–2013).
Mohamed has been a National Expert at the UAE Presidential Court since 2019. In 2019, he was chosen for the first Global Secondment Program for Emirati Leaders by the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development, and graduated from the Impactful Leaders Program in 2023. Al Sharhan holds an MSc in Engineering Systems and Management (2013) from the joint Masdar Institute–MIT program, a Master’s in Leadership and Innovation from Rochester Institute of Technology (U.S.), and a BSc in Civil Engineering
