As of September 1, Nina Hvid Enevoldsen has stepped into her new role as Director of the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia. With her comes a strong diplomatic and business background – and an ambitious vision for how Nordic cooperation can strengthen democracy, resilience, and equality in the Baltic region and beyond.
Nina joins the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia from the Danish Foreign Service, where she worked extensively with economic and trade policy at the Danish Embassy in Poland. Her career has also spanned business, Danish public institutions, and the EU Commission.
Holding a master’s degree in law from the University of Copenhagen, supplemented with experience from Copenhagen Business School and Oslo University, Nina brings both strategic and legal expertise to her new position in Riga.
