Sietse is Co-chair of the Wireless Network Evolution Working Group (WNE) of the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) and a Senior enforcement officer at the Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) in the Netherlands. He holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Twente and has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunication and ICT industry.
Sietse previously worked for the Dutch advisory firm Stratix and was active as a project leader and expert in a variety of projects concerning fixed and mobile infrastructures and also including topics such as data centers, IoT, PMSE, and optical wireless communication, involving policy advice, technology advice, business strategy and tendering of fixed and mobile infrastructure.
Earlier, he worked for Bell Labs Research and was active in ETSI standardization representing Alcatel-Lucent.
