Techritory is known for bringing together the brightest minds across multiple sectors to push the envelope of society-impacting connectivity. 2025 is no different, and is set to bring to the stage trailblazer in their own right, raising the toughest and most relevant questions du jour. 

Here are just a few panel discussions to mark on your programme – ranging from all-important resilience and defense tech, to enabling technologies like e-identity and sustainability in digital projects.

Must-hear panel #1: Protecting our critical infrastructure

With hybrid electronic warfare becoming an increasing norm in Europe, ranging from maritime cable disruptions to drone incursions near critical infrastructure, it is crucial to lay out Europe’s approach to dealing with such attacks. And the first step is – distinguishing between accidental and deliberate threats. 

This panel’s speakers will discuss approaches to response strategies, from real-time incident management to long-term resilience-building.

Must-hear panel #2: From global strategies to local benefits: which tech Advancements matter to everyone

Kicking off the Forum, a handful of global leaders from different sectors will be discussing the technologies that will bridge geographies and impact society-at-large. They will tackle difficult questions, like how to make sure that digital transformation makes societies safer, rather than more vulnerable, how to navigate the rise of AI while balancing strategic autonomy with global cooperation, and how to ensure that technology, often seen as a tool for growth, does not become a means for competition and control.

Must-hear panel #6: Countdown to Q-Day – Building Europe’s Quantum-Resilient Infrastructure

This panel will address the critical steps and challenges in preparing public and critical infrastructure for the era of quantum computing. Tune in to learn about the implementation of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), with a focus on balancing security demands with scalable network integration. 

Additionally, the panelists will explore the integration of quantum technology into telecom infrastructure, driven by advances in computing, control systems, and hardware. Must-hear panel #7: Future of Identity – Why yet another Digital Identity?

This must-hear panel will explore the pivotal shift toward eIDAS 2.0 and the evolving role of Digital Identity Wallets in the European Union. The discussion will draw lessons from the successes and shortcomings of previous systems, such as eIDAS 1.0 and existing private solutions, to understand why wallets are needed and what’s changing in digital identity regulation. 

The panelists will also seek answers to two key questions: how can countries protect users’ private information while ensuring interoperability across all 27 EU member states, and should governments develop their own wallets, or is a multi-provider approach the way forward?
