Taking place in parallel with Techritory’s stage sessions on October 22-23, co-creation events offer expansion of this year’s forum theme – Connected Futures through Digital Paths.

In 2025, Techritory will host 10+ co-creation events. You can find the complete list here, but we’ve highlighted six that you won’t want to miss.

Digital Innovation and Resilience in Ports: From Tests to Production

As maritime trade remains a critical pillar of Europe’s economy, the digital transformation of ports is moving from ambition to action. But the main question remains – how do we move from pilot projects to scalable, cross-border implementation? And that’s precisely what this co-creation event aims to find out. This side event will focus on accelerating digital transformation in the maritime sector.

Who should attend?

  • Port authorities and maritime infrastructure operators
  • Transport ministries and digitalization agencies
  • Maritime technology providers and system integrators
  • Startup founders and innovation managers
  • Network and connectivity leading telco companies (5G, IoT, satellite)
  • Cybersecurity and data governance experts

When: October 22, 14.00-17.00 (EEST)

Registration: Fill out this form. For any questions, please contact deniss.bickovs@lmt.lv.

Rethinking Digital Identity: Who Builds, Who Owns, Who Pays?

As Europe moves to implement the European Digital Identity Wallet (EUDIW), the conversation has shifted from “if” to “how.” This co-creation event will bring together government representatives and tech vendors from the Nordic-Baltic region to address critical questions about trust, usability, and control related to digital identity and personal data. Participants will explore how to balance sovereignty and user experience, and whether the EUDIW can establish itself as a global “gold standard.”

This co-creation event could be particularly interesting to:

  • Governmental representatives from the Nordic-Baltic region
  • Technology vendors in the digital identity and e-wallet space

When: October 23, 13.30-16.00 (EEST)

Quantum Realities: Building Networks, Overcoming Challenges, Expanding Cooperation

Quantum technologies are rapidly transitioning from theory to practical application, and this co-creation event will examine the Baltic region’s role in this shift. Through a combination of presentations and discussions, participants will learn about Europe’s quantum strategy, discuss the practicalities of implementing quantum networks, and explore how these technologies can enhance regional resilience and security.

The side event will also explore the progress of Latvia’s Quantum Memorandum of Understanding, signed three years ago to advance national cooperation and development. It will conclude with an open discussion to connect stakeholders with international partners, ensuring the conversation extends beyond national borders.

Who should attend:

  • Quantum technology and research professionals
  • Policymakers and government officials
  • Other stakeholders

When: October 23, 10.30-12.30 (EEST)

Registration: Fill out this form.

Deploying advanced national QCI systems and networks through the “Development of experimental quantum communication infrastructure in Latvia” project

As Europe prepares for the quantum era, its communication systems face growing risks from cyberattacks and a reliance on non-European technology. This co-creation event will highlight how a new experimental Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) network, integrated into existing communication systems, directly addresses these threats.

By showcasing the results of the “Development of experimental quantum communication infrastructure in Latvia” project, the event will demonstrate how the EU can strengthen its scientific and technological capabilities, boost the competitiveness of its quantum industry, and promote strategic autonomy.

Who should attend:

  • Implementing partners and stakeholders from the project
  • Policy & government representatives
  • Industry & technology leaders
  • Critical infrastructure operators
  • Academia & research representatives

When: October 22, 15.00-18.00 (EEST)

Integrated Sensing and Communications in SNS Trials and Pilots: Pathway to Monetization of 6G Networks

Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC) is a key 6G innovation that turns mobile networks into a dual-purpose infrastructure for both communication and environmental sensing. This creates new monetization opportunities and has significant social and economic potential.

This co-creation event will explore how ISAC generates value across real-world applications, such as infrastructure monitoring and smart manufacturing. Moreover, experts from SNS-funded projects, the European Commission, and ETSI will share insights on implementing pilots and trials, connecting technological potential with practical, market-driven outcomes.

Who should attend:

  • Industry executives, business leaders, and network operators
  • Representatives from vertical industries, e.g., the infrastructure monitoring, smart manufacturing, and autonomous mobility domains
  • Policy-makers, ETSI/3GPP experts, and EC/national officers shaping roadmaps and regulations
  • Investors, ecosystem funders, and R&D teams advancing 5G/6G towards monetization and impact
  • Innovators and engineers working on Integrated Sensing and Communications
  • Coordinators of EU- and nationally-funded trials, pilots, and R&D projects

When: October 22, 14.00-17.00 (EEST)
